Random Rules Playlist 004: When Your Job Is Beach
A playlist for chilling on the beach and nothing else
Even though I have lived most of my life in California and Florida, I am not really a beach person (I know, it doesn’t really add up). However, I was recently whisked away on a beach getaway by my family. As I was sitting in the sand, listening to the mostly terrible music coming from neighboring beach blankets and their Beats Pills, it dawned on me that I should have made a proper beach playlist in advance, and I realized I have made playlists for almost every other activity one would do while on vacation, except one: when you find yourself in the situation where your job is just beach. This playlist is intended for private or public listening while you’re doing nothing else but relaxing in the sand, and as the kids say, it is a WHOLE vibe.
Since the summer of 2023 is almost over, I wanted to get this playlist done just in time for at least a few of you to actually enjoy it as intended, hopefully you will remember to make this the soundtrack for your Labor Day Weekend (we recommend you listen to this one on RANDOM):
